How does mobile detailing work?

We come to you! Simply book your appointment online, and our fully equipped mobile unit will arrive at your home, office, or wherever your vehicle is. All we need is access to your vehicle and a nearby water source for most services.

How long does a detail take?

It depends on the service and your vehicle's condition. An Interior Reset takes about 1.5–2 hours. An Exterior Gloss Enhancement takes about 1–1.5 hours. A Full Detail takes 3–4 hours. Ceramic coatings require 1–3 days.

What products do you use?

We use only professional-grade, pH-balanced products that are safe for all surfaces and finishes. Our product lineup includes trusted brands in the detailing industry, and we're always testing and upgrading.

Do I need to be home during the detail?

Not at all. Many of our clients leave their vehicle accessible and go about their day. We'll send before-and-after photos and notify you when we're done.

What if it rains on my appointment day?

We monitor the weather closely. If conditions aren't suitable, we'll reach out to reschedule at no charge. Your detail deserves the best conditions.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Suds & Steel gift certificates are available in any denomination. They make a great gift for the car lover in your life.

What areas do you serve?

We serve Eagan and the surrounding Twin Cities south metro, including Apple Valley, Burnsville, Lakeville, Rosemount, Savage, Prior Lake, Inver Grove Heights, Mendota Heights, and South St. Paul.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

We ask for at least 24 hours' notice. You can reschedule easily through our online booking system or by calling/texting us.
